LAMO Deputy Meets with Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce

The Deputy of Look-out Afghanistan Market Organization (LAMO) held an official meeting with Mr. Qudratullah Jamal, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, to present and discuss LAMO’s flagship Afghanistan 10 Best Brand (A10BB) program. During the official meeting, held at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in the presence of a LAMO delegation, the LAMO Deputy presented the objectives, implementation process, and capacities of the Afghanistan 10 Best Brand (A10BB) program to the Deputy Minister. After receiving a comprehensive briefing on the program, Mr. Qudratullah Jamal expressed his appreciation for the activities of Look-out Afghanistan Market Organization (LAMO) and described the Afghanistan 10 Best Brand (A10BB) program as an effective initiative for improving the quality of products and services in the Afghan market. After being assured that the program is a national initiative and that international organizations have no involvement in its implementation, the Deputy Minister announced the Ministry of Industry and Commerce’s full support for the program and pledged the necessary cooperation. Mr. Qudratullah Jamal also issued an official letter to the Directorate of Industrial Parks of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and other relevant government institutions, instructing them to provide cooperation and assistance in the assessment of companies and the implementation of the Afghanistan 10 Best Brand (A10BB) program. LAMO officials expressed their appreciation for the cooperation and coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. They emphasized that the cooperation of other relevant stakeholders within Afghanistan’s private sector is also essential for the effective implementation of the program and called for the Ministry’s continued support. The Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce also pledged continued cooperation and coordination at both government and private-sector levels. He called on the LAMO delegation to ensure that the program is implemented with full transparency and on a sustained basis.
